1. Kollam is experiencing a downpour. I didn't wait for the rain to slow down to be back home after my office hours. I wanted to feel the rain....to get washed of many worries and the melancholic state I was tagged in, since days. Walking to my two- wheeler I let myself to be poked by the sharp needles of water that made its way down from the sky. In the blip of a minute, I was wet completely; not leaving any part of my body. I assumed myself to have forgotten that people were gazing at me from the commercial complex in which my office found place. It was good to have a ten minute ride dipped in rain to my home. Now that instead of envying people sitting comfortably in cars, giving a glance through the glass windows, I pitied them for not feeling the rain. I could only assume that they were less burdened that me. My students awaited me at home for their "twice in a week" tuition. Seeing me wet as a cat gets wet when fallen in a bucketful of water, one of girl asked me so softly,

"Is this what you say at times, 'EXTREME DELIGHT IN FEELING RAIN?".

"Yeah, it's also a sort", I replied and walked to my room leaving trails of water on the floor.

2. Recently, I read an article by chance: "Things Highly Creative People Do Differently".

By the article, it says that exceptionally inventive individuals are daydreamers, who watch everything, who work the hours that work for them, who truly require some investment for isolation, they "fail up", they ask the big questions, they watch people, take risks, they escape from their own particular heads, they encompass themselves with beauty, they shake up things, they take time for mindfulness and they view life as a means of self-expression.

Bingo! I'm a highly creative person going by these statements. A mix up of merits & demerits.

3. Right when Pope Francis welcomed the homosexuals and the divorced catholic to be made accessible to all the sacraments available; he has been rebuffed by the Synod which discussed matters secretly since two weeks. The Pope being the ultimate leader of the Catholic Church, got his views rejected as it is.

Why don't the Church allow the gay & the lesbians to participate in the union of Church?

Ridiculous are the laws of the Church. Let the church take a stand on the pedophiles in the religious community first rather than pushing aside the homosexual race who really has gifts and benefits to offer the Catholic Church.

"An Act of Thanksgiving" to all my Blog Readers

                                                Today is the twentieth day of my Blog Marathon. Disregarding my nonstop and stacked work weight, i took to compose one blog post for every day.                             Cooking has always been a very interesting thing for me.The flavors, seasoning, the taste and aroma certainly catches my entire self more than anything. Despite the fact that i am not a foodie, i like to eat whenever i cook. My mother is the best cook that i have ever seen in my lifetime. It's not in the view of a mother child connection, however it is a certainty.

This time when i cooked, it was the turn of pasta. I have never cooked pasta before. And so keeping my fingers crossed and after praying to all saints that i remembered then, i started to prepare a savoury semolina pasta. They say it takes only 10 minutes to prepare the dish; but it took more than 15 minutes to finish the process as i had to boil the pasta for a little long to get the right consistency.

I made scrambled eggs with thyme and seasoned the pasta with Schezwan sauce and rose mary leaves. Savoury sweet and spicy pasta is ready to eat.

And that was a healthy one.

"A herculean task"

                                                 

                     It's about 45 days now that i have been planted in an outside association for an audit.                    Last day after work and evening mass, i planned to go out with my mom to see a Gujarati emporium which they had arranged in Jawahar Balabhavan nearby my place, just 4/5 Kms away. It had been too long since i last witnessed an exhibition conducted by the North Indian people. I needed to go somewhere as i was longing for it very badly because i have been working at a stretch and my psyche needed a refreshment.

Hectic days at work has rendered me emotionless and tiring these days. There is no option available, but to pull through. 

Common to all exhibitions conducted by them, i saw this multicolored and shining beads used for making chains for women in sizes small to big. By showing these sparkling gems and stones, they are intent on pulling in ladies.

The exhibition ranged from clothing to wooden articles , unreasonably priced which we get in the markets here at prices much lower than considered. I met a woman from Ernakulam, named Sony who was so dynamic in her 60's, to offer the products and garments she displayed for sale. She dealt in cloth materials for home.After buying from her some cushion covers, dining table mats and table runners for home, we moved on to the next section. And she was the only South Indian woman among that group of North Indian men. I wondered how she managed to be among them alone. 

Braveheart indeed.

"Adamant People"

                               Some individuals are truly & exceptionally adamant on specific things. Perhaps more regrettable than youngsters. Anyway the unpalatable part is when religious people(Catholic) get to be inflexible. The pledges of their arrangement : Compliance and profound quality is lost when they act like that. I have run over one, despite the fact that i have discovered 98% of them were along these lines, however this lady is greatly something.
