Blessed be & Cursed be!

Blessed be the womb that can conceive but cursed be me who was born from a blessed womb! Life is weird and not beguiling.
For innumerable reasons to which reasons are unknown, I’ve become the reason.
The reason for all turbulence in minds and in life.
Should I stay tight lipped or should I stay away from those which was ‘Ours’
While it’s now ‘Ones’.
Should I play the fool or should I be the puppet?
Demarcations came across and consanguinity got forgotten all of a sudden one fine day.
Why should one need belongings and thirst for lust? Or why should one be acquainted with longings for opposite gender?
I’m tired…Tired to move along with the so called ‘LIFE’.
At times I break down; into a state which I can’t even explain…
Because I walk holding the hands of depression!

Drenched..

”I walk leaving behind footprints on the sands of time,
Eagerly to bid and plant a kiss on the setting Sun.

But I ope my eyes to find that,
I’m drenched in surrealism!”

                                                                                        -On a surrealistic note!

Ruminative Wednesday.

Hi there ….
Ready to meet the interesting person of the month? Waiting for the postcard to reach the person! The postcard campaign for the interesting person of the month will be posted in two days’ time.  Meanwhile my readers can chew my ruminative and other posts.

Days are getting shorter and I feel time is stealing away from my hands. For I should lend the words, “If I could bottle the time”.

To let know my readers with my literary updates; I’m working on my fourth poem- a Eulogy. I can’t find another possible replacement for my sleep!

Hope all are doing well. Sending wishes for my new readers from Veneto and Quezon.

Scars..

People have scars. Scars that almost hurts us in each and every possible way. Scars that have a hidden story that falls back behind the curtains of life.
Scars that shuts the soul completely out and which has the power to destroy us, abandon ourselves and leave for another world.
Scars are painful…They make a person go insane or wander directionless.
Scars…
Scars that can make us forget the memoirs and transform us to a Utopian world of dilemma.
Such are scars…Scars of extreme paranoia.

But those scars are the reason why we are alive today. Though in pain, it shows that we survived.

Observation won...

Here is a fascinated observation that I didn’t miss the previous day in an art café.

Two guys maybe in their late 20’s or beginning 30’s came over to the café, got seated and right away ordered something. Though I was in the midway through an interesting conversation here with my fellow beings; my eyes caught inescapable glimpses of the mannerisms and behavior of those guys.

In the first instance: 5 minutes elapsed after ordering sometthing. God knows what those men ordered.
10 minutes flew by and there started restlessness. The guy who sat facing me, started turning back as many as 12-15 times.

On the approximate 13-14th minute, the waiter came with a tray.
As simple as that; two cups of lemon tea and some marshmellows. There they were feeling contented as to the order arrived at least then.
There comes the twist then. The guy facing me took a sip and kept the cup down. His companion didn’t show any signs of disapproval. But the “Theory of Influence” was applied by the other guy that made his companion imitate the action of the first. A sense of irritated discontentment.  The guy facing me turned back and waived a hand at the waiter.

The next thing which I saw was that the waiter taking those cups back into the kitchen. Simple observation – The lemon tea didn’t appeal to their senses it seems and went another order behind it.

The same looks of discontentment and irritation for lagging the time for the order to arrive but doubled with disgrace and anger.

The guy facing me starts looking at his watch intermittently, looks back whether the waiter is coming and then says something to his friend. Repeated goes this process until the waiter comes with another tray of two transparent glasses with lime juice.

Blimey! Have these guys craved to drink this, waiting for nearly 40-45 minutes. Seeing the waiter coming, words of dire emotion mixed with stirred facial expressions spitted forth from the guy facing me, but in silence; to which it was audible to his companion only.

No sooner the glasses arrived, than they gulped it as if they had some tablets up their throat and left the area in split seconds!
That was quick but ridiculous but at last Observation won!

Inspire yourself!

It stands true to be a proven thought for those who are gifted with something in their life. Should we say that ‘only those’ who are gifted in life. No! Each and every person in this world is gifted in one way or the other. But, for some it takes time to sense it and move along their way.

It’s not challenging to lead a normal life like any human being. But when you create yourselves as an ‘intellectual thinking person’, you remain beyond the purview of being ordinary.

It’s not the level of education, nor the University that one trains in his considerable lifetime which determines the intellectual entity. It is in your mind. Let loose the reins of your mind and see things from a different version. Be not like all! Be yourself and stay original.

Each and every one of us have a story to tell in this span of life. Why not leave some mind stirring thoughts behind, so that any person who remains hanging on the verge of losing hope and happiness can climb up. Just realize then that you weren’t Shiv Khera or Earnest Hemingway or any other celebrity. But it was just you. Think different and be different.

Ending the day on a positive note.

Adultery- I'm sipping it!

“You don’t choose your life; it chooses you. There’s no point asking why life has reserved certain joys or griefs, you just accept them and carry on.”
                                                                                              ― Paulo Coelho, Adultery

February seems to be starting with Paulo Coelho for me; though the Slum Child by Bina Shah is yet to be finished. The first book of the month to be in my reading list – Adultery. A provocative novel by the Brazilian author which explores the mystery behind what it means to live life in its sublimity and in mirth and also finding a balance between the routine of life as well as the yearning to have something new.

The plot is about a woman in her thirties questioning many things in her routine life. A piece of fiction; the book awaited me early in the morning along with a hot cup of tea and my daily newspaper.
Hoping to explore mind stirring stuff.

It's Feb: Season starts!

Marking the month on a constructive note and here I go.
Though Sundays are the only days on which I am off work, yesterday seemed to be fully loaded with good threads that I could develop my writing on. Really, thoughts emanate from seeing people and sometimes on interacting with them. January did pass with two unpublished poems in my hand leaving the other whooping number to be written.

This month marks the starting of my Blog postcard campaign. Two postcards a month to the interesting persons that I come across from this month onwards till I finish my works. The persons who receive it will be showcased in my blog with their amusing description.

And this year’s Blog Marathon is likely to come around in March. Wait for the interesting stuff. So this can just be attributed as an announcement! Check out for the literary post soon.
Good day!
