"O star of wonder, star of night"

"O star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright.
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect light"

No big surprise, this is my star at home. This month doesn't offer intimation to be the Christmas breezy month rather a rainy and cloudy one. Most of the places in Kerala receive a considerable amount of rainfall now. Rain is just like that. When you yearn for it, it won't turn up, yet it takes a swing at sudden times.

Gracious i'm simply straying from the point.Right from my adolescence, Christmas was dependably an interest for me. That special season and climate, the adorned Christmas trees, the well set Christmas crib, the paper star hanging and swaying along with the breeze. That was a time. Really.

Things changed so fast. Stars made from bamboo are not to be seen. The casuarina trees which we used as Christmas trees in my childhood have been replaced with artificial Christmas trees, which are very easily available in the market.

Thank God, that Christmas carols have not been wiped off as such. At least by hearing Silent Night, Joy to the World or Jingle Bells playing in the background, one can feel that it is the season of 'X' Mas.
